Homer M. Prigg Jr.
Homer M. Prigg Jr., 81, of Washington, died Sunday, December 16, 2012, in Washington Hospital.
He was born January 28, 1931, in Washington, a son of the late Homer M. Sr. and Mildred McKay Prigg.
Mr. Prigg was a 1949 graduate of Washington High School and a graduate of Waynesburg College.
He was employed by the Pennsylvania State Unemployment Bureau as a caseworker and retired in 1993.
Mr. Prigg enjoyed trap and skeet shooting, hunting and music.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean conflict.
On September 18, 1959, in Centerville, he married Rose M. Frost, who died January 11, 2006.
Surviving are two sons, William (Vicky) Prigg of Charlotte, N.C., and Robert (Brenda) Prigg of Cranberry Township, and five grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of service, Friday, December 21, in Church of the Covenant, 267 East Beau Street, Washington, PA 15301, with the Rev. Stuart D. Broberg officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
