Roy Andrew Sluk Sr., 71, of West Brownsville, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012, in his home.
He was born August 21, 1941, in Pittsburgh, a son of Andrew and June (Christy) Sluk.
Deceased are his father, Andrew, and his first wife, Carolyn Rose Sluk.
He will be sadly missed by his mother, June; his wife, Patricia Sluk; three children, Roy A. Sluk Jr. and wife Melissa of Rostraver, Yvonne M. Snodgrass and husband William of Belle Vernon and Mark C. Sluk and wife Jeanne of Jefferson Hills; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Joanne Coudriet and husband Donald of Reno, Nev.; two brothers, John Sluk of Ohio and Jim Sluk and wife Jeannie of Pittsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.
He also leaves his dog, Ginger.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in Novak Funeral Home, 515 Front Street, Brownsville. Prayers of transfer will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 24, in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in the Historic Church of St. Peter, Brownsville, with the Rev.
