David M. Hruby, 83, of Finleyville, died Thursday, December 20, 2012, in the emergency room of St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon.
He was born September 20, 1929, in Donora, a son of the late Paul and Johanna Bazuch Hruby.
Mr. Hruby was retired as a supervisor with Joseph J. Graciano Construction Co. in Pittsburgh.
He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Finleyville.
Mr. Hruby enjoyed his classic Corvette.
Surviving are two daughters, Debbie Hutcheson and husband David and Marcia Smith and husband Ron, both of Finleyville; four brothers, Emil and William Hruby, both of Rostraver, Arthur Hruby of Monongahela and Raymond Hruby of Finleyville; two sisters, Florence Huntoon of New Eagle and Mary Patrick of Irwin; two grandchildren, Heather and Brent Hutcheson; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased is his wife, Marcellina “Marcy” Hruby, who died March 23, 2012.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Kegel Funeral Home Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, December 24, in St. Francis Assisi Church, Finleyville, with the Rev. Richard J. Tusky as celebrant. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
