Cheryl Ann Knight, 64, of Canonsburg, formerly of Belle Vernon, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 25, 2012, in Canonsburg General Hospital.
A daughter of Lorraine Andercheck Vandernitte of Belle Vernon and the late Paul Kissell, she was born January 20, 1948, in Youngstown, Ohio.
Prior to starting a family, Mrs. Knight was an elementary school teacher.
In addition to her mother, surviving are her husband of 12 years, John L. “Jack” Knight; a son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Darla Kramer of Belle Vernon; a daughter, Erin Jericho of Belle Vernon; a stepson, John Knight of Canonsburg; three stepdaughters, Melissa Lusi, Michelle Knight and Lori Seaman, all of Canonsburg; two grandchildren, Jacob Jericho and Gabrielle Kramer; 11 stepgrandchildren, Ariana Lusi, Isiah, Dylan, Kailee, Terrell and Rahmiere Knight, Aubrey, Kaylin, Hannah, Jared and Heath Seaman; two brothers, John Kissell of Monessen and Tim Kissell of Macungie; and a sister, Melanie Nakawatase of California.
