Julie Ann Lepovich, 64, of Van Voorhis, died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 25, 2012, in UPMC-Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born September 10, 1948, in North Charleroi. She was a daughter of Anthony Victor “Tony” and Helen Elizabeth “Betty” McIntosh Lepovich and Jennifer P. Litwin Lepovich.
She was a 1968 graduate of Donora High School and a member of First Christian Church in Monongahela. She attended school three days a week at Lifesteps of Washington County in Eighty Four.
She enjoyed traveling with her parents to visit family in Buffalo, N.Y., and summer vacations in Florida. She looked forward to spending her Sundays with her boyfriend, Howard. She loved children, crafts, bowling, making latch-hook rugs, baking (especially cookies), swimming, cleaning house, sitting on the porch drinking a Coke, cookouts and family outings.
She was special to her family and friends and will sadly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving are her sister, Mary Ann Lorenz and husband Leo, with whom she made her home; a brother, Anthony J. Lepovich and wife Mary of Washington; five nieces and three nephews, Theresa Dorman, Kimberly Lorenz, Leo T. Lorenz Jr., Sherry King, Rebecca Martin, John Lepovich, Jennifer Johnson and Tony Murch; her boyfriend, Howard Newman of Donora; several great-nieces and nephews; aunts from Buffalo; and an uncle from Cleveland, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 29, with the Rev. Mark Woomer officiating. Committal services and interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
