Shawn Edward “Sweetchuck” Baker, 33, of DuBois, died Monday, December 24, 2012, in DRMC Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born January 12, 1979, in Washington, a son of Judy (Conklin) Miceli of DuBois.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his stepfather, David Miceli of DuBois; grandfather Guy Edward Conklin of Georgetown; girlfriend Allie Wonderly of DuBois; several aunts and uncles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Deceased are sister Tina Marie Bauduin and maternal grandmother Shirley Conklin.
Mr. Baker was a member of the Army National Guard of Punxsutawney and the Marine Corps.
He was employed with Brookville Wood Products.
Mr. Baker graduated from Jeff Tech.
He loved working on computers, camping and the outdoors.
Mr. Baker was a member of DuBois Area Honor Guard and spent most of his life in DuBois.
Public visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 until 11 a.m., the time of service, Saturday, December 29, in Leo Nedza Funeral Home, DuBois. Military services will be accorded by DuBois Area Honor Guard. Burial will take place in Valier Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Leo Nedza Funeral Home – DuBois.
