William Nourigat Jr., 95, of Midway, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012, in Canonsburg General Hospital.
He was born January 6, 1917, in Midway, a son of the late William Nourigat Sr. and Ora Russell Nourigat.
Mr. Nourigat was a custodian for Fort Cherry School District and previously was a foreman at Taylor-Forge.
He was a member of Center United Presbyterian Church, Midway Volunteer Fire Department, Chartiers Lodge 297 F&AM and the Shriners.
Mr. Nourigat enjoyed sports, spending time with his family and was an avid walker.
Surviving are his wife, Wilma Deer Nourigat of Midway; daughter Suellyn (Ron) Lukan of Midway; grandchildren Jodie (Paul) Panizza of Midway, Karen (Eric) Shephard of Sturgeon and Jef (Jodie) Lukan of Houston; and great-grandchildren Brittney, Holly, Anthony, Jillian and Allison.
Deceased are a sister, Rose Marie Randour, and a brother, Charles Nourigat.
Friends will be received from noon to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m., the time of service, Sunday, December 30, in Thomas-Little Funeral Service Inc., 106 St. John Street, Midway, 724-796-3301. A firemen’s service will be held at 6 p.m. and a Shriner’s service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Private interment will be held in Center Cemetery.
