Fonya R. Kelley
Fonya R. Kelley, 66, of Houston, died Friday, November 2, 2012, in Canonsburg General Hospital.
She was born July 20, 1946, in Steubenville, Ohio, a daughter of William and Eva Cain Thompson.
Mrs. Kelley enjoyed traveling and spending time at the beach.
On August 2, 1967, she married William E. Kelley, who died September 2, 2002.
Surviving are a daughter, Tammy Thompson of Houston; a son, William E. Kelley II of Houston; four granddaughters, Ryan Thompson, Natasha Kelley, Kelsey Wyland and Briana Banovich; two great-granddaughters; a great-grandson; two brothers, Edward Thompson (Pat) of Corry and Donald Thompson (Chris) of Canonsburg; two sisters, Drucilla Sickman (William) of Houston and Pamela Thompson of Canonsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
A brother, William Thompson is deceased.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 5. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205-4620.
