Kathleen S. Jessee, 62, of Washington, died Thursday, November 1, 2012, in Humbert Lane Nursing Home, South Strabane Township.
She was born April 29, 1950, in Washington, a daughter of Charles H. and Nancy L. Cope Jessee.
Miss Jessee grew up in Marianna, moved to Florida and then returned to Marianna.
She was a 1968 graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School.
Miss Jessee had various jobs in her life, working for Olan Mills Photography as a photographer, a hairdresser and barber, and most recently as a mortgage processer supervisor for Washington Mutual.
She was a member of the Democratic National Committee and American Civil Liberties Union, and she enjoyed spending time online being a part of the community on the Daily Kos website.
Surviving are her mother, Nancy Jessee of Washington; a sister, Karen (Thomas) Caponi of Washington; a niece, Leigh (Mike) Funaro; great-nephews Bob Nichols and Michael Funaro; a great-niece, Sarah Nichols; and great-great-nieces Angelina Daugherty and Molly Fitzgerald.
Deceased is her father, Charles H. Jessee.
