Alice M. Gordon, 80, of Cross Creek, died at 4 a.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2012, in Washington Hospital.

She was born April 28, 1932, in Patterson Mills, a daughter of the late John H. and Martha Kollessar Gordon.

Ms. Gordon was a 1950 graduate of Avella High School.

She was employed by RCA, as an inspector, for more than 30 years, retiring in 1983.

Ms. Gordon was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church in Avella and St. Ann Roman Catholic Church in Bulger.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great-great-niece, Gianna Muscaro.

Ms. Gordon was a former resident of Avella and had lived in Cross Creek for the past 12 years.

Surviving are a sister, Eleanor Taggart of Cross Creek; two brothers, John W. Gordon of Tampa, Fla., and Gerald Gordon of Seattle, Wash.; four nephews, Donald (Cathy) Taggart, Todd (Kristin) Gordon, Scott Gordon and Chris (Tamara) Gordon; five nieces, Marsha (Stan) Muscaro, Donna May (George) Smith, Tracy Taggart, Lisa (Stan) Elliot and Michelle (Andrew) Saulnier; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

All arrangements are private. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Avella. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, 95 Highland Avenue, Avella, PA 15312, or St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, P.O. Box 488, Bulger, PA 15019. Stefkovich Funeral Home, Avella.
