William Woods, 71, of Parma, Ohio, formerly of Washington, died Friday, November 2, 2012, in his home with his family.

He was a son of the late William Woods and Lillian Hull.

Mr. Woods was a graduate of Trinity High School and served in the National Guard.

Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Shirley; children William Woods (Trish), Chris and Sherri Smith (Bob); nine grandchildren; brothers Fred Woods (Kathleen) and Jerry Woods (Linn); sisters Lillian Hull March, Alyce Harter (Tom), Dianne Hughes (Bill) and Sandy LaSalvia (Carmen), all of Washington; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Deceased are a brother, John Woods; and sisters Shirley Mathot and Nancy Christman.

Interment and military service was held November 6 in Holy Cross Cemetery, Parma.
