Berverly Sue Murphy
Beverly Sue Murphy, 59, of Washington, died Thursday, November 8, 2012, in her home.
She was born March 24, 1953, in Washington, a daughter of the late Paul and Mary Jane Miller Harton.
Mrs. Murphy was a 1970 graduate of Trinity High School.
She was a member of Living Waters Church of God in Washington.
Mrs. Murphy was a clerk at Talkies Video and loved attending church and crafting.
In December 1971, in Washington, she married Frank O. Murphy Sr., who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Richard J. (Barbara) Murphy and Frank O. Murphy Jr., both of Washington; a sister, Paula Jane (August) Rosa of Avella; a grandson, Jayden Columbo; three stepgrandchildren, Joseph Piatt and Jason and Jacob Knox; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, Kenneth R. Harton, and a sister, Kathy Meeks.
Friends will be received from noon to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 12, with Pastor Michael Singo officiating.
