Elinor Jaudy, 85, of Canonsburg, died Friday, November 9, 2012, in Canonsburg General Hospital.

She was born April 22, 1927, in Altoona Juniata, a daughter of the late Herman and Miriam Esterly Arbster.

Mrs. Jaudy was a member of Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church and Eastern Star.

Prior to her retirement, she worked as a nurse’s aide for McMurray Hills Manor.

On January 28, 1948, she married Earl R. Jaudy, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Linda Hill and husband Bill of Chartiers Township.

In addition to her parents, deceased are a daughter, Miriam Jaudy, and a son, Robert Jaudy.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Sollon Funeral Home Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director. Friends are invited to meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 13, at Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Douglas Beltzner officiating.

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
