Mary Orris Madosky
Mary Orris Madosky, 97, of Hendersonville, died Friday, November 9, 2012, in Washington County Health Center, Chartiers Township.
She was born April 17, 1915.
Mrs. Madosky was a member of St. John’s Russian Orthodox Church in Canonsburg.
She was active with Canonsburg Senior Citizens, and she enjoyed bowling, bingo and darts.
Her husband, Harry “Hank” Madosky, died March 17, 1968.
Surviving are seven children, Mary “Tinny” Mann of Colling Lakes, N.J., Harry Madosky (Joann) of Huntington Beach, Calif., George Madosky (Barbara) of Monroeville, N.J., Martha Bumbarger (Glenn) of Elizabeth, Aaron “Ace” Madosky (Robin) of Columbus, Ohio, Mark Madosky of Washington and Maxine DePaoli (Gary) of Meadow Lands; 20 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
Deceased are a daughter, Deborah Styperk, and three sons, Max Madosky and infants Albert and Michael.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of service, Tuesday, November 13, in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, with the Very Rev. Joseph Oleynik officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Canonsburg Senior Citizens, 30 East Pike Street, Canonsburg, PA 15317.
