Robert W. “Bob” Ringeisen, 65, of Bulger, died Friday, November 9, 2012.

He was born February 24, 1947, in Pittsburgh, a son of Russell and Irene Haney Ringeisen.

On July 1, 1978, he married Judy Vitai, who survives.

Mr. Ringeisen worked for Sun Beam Appliance in Pittsburgh for 20 years, retiring in 1983.

In 2003, he invented and patented the EZ Shot Ghost Ball, which he sold all over the world.

He had a passion for playing pool and was excellent at it. At the time of his death, he held the highest average playing nine-ball in the Players Pool League. Mr. Ringeisen also played in the APA Pool League and the Iron City Pool League.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Robert “Rob” R. Ringeisen of Bulger and Ron W. Ringeisen of Burgettstown; two brothers, Russell Ringeisen of Virginia and Richard “Rick” Ringeisen of Pittsburgh; a sister, Robin Thompson of Pittsburgh; and a grandson, Skyler Ringeisen.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 13. Interment will follow in Center Cemetery, Midway. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Nation Funeral Home.
