Mary Ann Cranmer
Mary Ann “Babe” Cranmer, 75, of Canonsburg, went to be with the Lord Friday, November 9, 2012, in Washington Hospital.
She was born in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Karl and Ann Pashkevich Summers.
She was a member of Central Assembly of God Church in Houston, where she was involved in numerous church groups.
She graduated from Canonsburg Hospital School of Nursing, worked at Canonsburg Hospital and retired from Mayview State Hospital as a registered nurse supervisor.
She will always be remembered for putting her patients first and her kindness, love and philanthropic nature.
Surviving are a son, Joseph C. Cranmer and wife Renee of Franklin; three brothers, John Summers of Washington, Robert Summers of Sharpsburg and Michael Summers and wife Vicky of Long Island, N.Y.; sister Rose Mary O’Korn and husband Frank of McMurray; three grandchildren, Joseph Phillip Cranmer and Michael and Brittany; two nephews, Buck O’Korn and wife Amy and Brian O’Korn and wife Becky; two great-nieces, Abigal Rose and Grace Milan; and a great-nephew, Luke Robert-Frank.
Deceased are two brothers, Carl and Francis Summers, and three sisters, Martha Dean, Helen Stutzman and Betty Lash.
There will be no public visitation. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 17, in Central Assembly of God Church, Houston.
