Frances Magdaline Christy, 73, of Reesman’s Mobile Home Park, Waynesburg, died Monday, November 12, 2012, in Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg.
She was born September 24, 1939, in Vestaburg, a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Senskey Piechnik.
Mrs. Christy was a graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School and was a retired housekeeper at Washington Hospital.
She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, camping and taking care of her husband and family and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
On November 27, 1959, she married Nicola Christy, who survives.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are five children, Bernadine Sisler of Mather, Antonette Springer of Rices Landing, Dora McCall of Aurora, Ohio, Jacquline Christy of Ohio and Anthony Christy of North Carolina; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Elizabeth Dutko of Staton, Va.
Deceased are two sisters, Andrea Chapman and Patricia Williams.
