Vivian V. White, 80, of McDonald, died Tuesday, November 13, 2012, in Washington County Health Center, Chartiers Township.
She was born September 15, 1932, in California, a daughter of the late Edward and Catherine Whetzel Wilds.
Mrs. White was a member of Venice Presbyterian Church.
She was a graduate of Cecil High School.
Mrs. White enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She worked as a waitress for various area restaurants.
Surviving are a daughter, Kathy (Ted Forkey) Briselli of West Alexander; two sons, James (Betty) White of Smithville, Tenn., and Jeffrey White of McDonald; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, Edward Wilds of Texas; and a sister, Jennie Lou Hertzog of Canonsburg.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, James D. White Sr., and a sister, Edwina Nichols.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Route 50, Cecil, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 16, with Pastor Fred Soberg officiating. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald.
