Albert A. Albertini, 89, of Moundsville, W.Va., died Saturday, November 17, 2012, in Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, W.Va.

He was born November 30, 1922, in Willock, a son of the late Joseph and Noemi Tonoli Albertini.

He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Moundsville, Knights of Columbus Council 1907, 4th Degree Knight, Garibaldi Lodge of Benwood, W.Va., and St. Vincent de Paul Society.

In addition to his parents, deceased are four brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are his loving wife, Margaret (Daniels) Albertini, whom he married April 24, 1948; six daughters, Anita Estep (Richard Pantone) of New Martinsville, W.Va., Alma (Larry) Cunningham of Benwood, Joan (Ed) Estep of Proctor, W.Va., Janet (Paul) Mancuso of Vienna, W.Va., Marcia (John) Torres of Hendersonville, N.C., and Laura (Paul) Weigel of Wheeling, W.Va.; 23 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes and Kirby-Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, where a rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Halcyon Hills Cemetery, Sherrard, W.Va.

William “Bill” Lazor, 83, of Piedmont, Ohio, formerly of Mingo Junction, Ohio, died Saturday, November 17, 2012, in Wintersville, Ohio.

He was born May 15, 1929, in Canonsburg.

Mr. Lazor was a retired employee of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and a U.S. Navy veteran.

He enjoyed several years of retirement with his wife, children and grandchildren. He was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman.

Deceased are his wife of 51 years, Martha Carpenter Lazor; two brothers; and two sisters.

Surviving are two daughters, Karen (Mike) Homol of Steubenville, Ohio, and Christina (Dale) Bonnett of Belmont, Ohio; sister, Eva Vadasz of Mingo Junction; brother, The Metropolitan Theodosius of Cannonsburg; nine grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday in Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, Ohio. Funeral divine liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, in St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, Barton, Ohio, with the Very Rev. Michael Kabel officiating. Burial follows in St. Nicholas Cemetery. A funeral service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Monday and a Panachida service, at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

William F. Morris II, 79, of Waynesburg, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012, in his home after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born September 21, 1933, in Washington, D.C., and grew up in Nineveh, a son of Myra Mckee Morris.

Mr. Morris was a graduate of Waynesburg High School, Class of 1956, and Waynesburg College.

After graduation, he was employed in the insurance industry both in Pittsburgh and Los Angeles, Calif. After several years in California, he returned to Waynesburg in 1970 and was a partner with Furman and Audra Wade in Wade’s Body Shop.

Mr. Morris and his wife, Lynne, owned and operated Bil-Mar Tavern in West Waynesburg for many years until they moved to Florida in 1989. In 2005, they moved to Tucson, Ariz., after surviving Hurricane Charley and three other hurricanes that year in Florida.

Surviving are his wife, Lynne G. Radjenovic Morris, and daughters Tamara Morris, Amy B. Morris Durbin (Keith) and Rebecca Morris (Scott). His pride and joy were his two grandsons, Tyler Scott William Morris and Logan Riley Durbin.

His daughter, Melanie Sue, passed away as a young child.

He was a great husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Morris was full of life, energy and a touch of impulsiveness. He was never boring.

Bonnie J. Policz, 47, of Graysville, died Sunday, November 18, 2012, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg.

She was born March 3, 1965, in Alexandria, Minn., a daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothy Rodgers Campbell.

Mrs. Policz served in the U.S. Air Force from 1983 to 1990.

She had worked as a sales manager for C&S Tire in Waynesburg.

Surviving are her husband, Joseph B. Policz of Waynesburg; daughter Faith Caldwell and son Victor Caldwell, both of South Carolina; two brothers, David Campbell of Maryland and Scott Campbell of New York; and sister Terry Edwards of Georgia.

She also leaves her beloved dogs, Ayasha and Cheyenne.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, is a sister, Becky Campbell.

Joseph “Little Joe” Trovato, 79, of Canonsburg, passed away Friday, November 16, 2012, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, with his loving family by his side, after an extended illness.

He was born March 23, 1933, in Curinga, Provezia di Catanzaro, Calabria, Italy, a son of the late Giovanni and Caterina Monteleone Trovato.

Mr. Trovato lived in Canonsburg since 1955 and was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church.

He was the proprietor of Little Joe’s Market on Jefferson Avenue in Canonsburg for more than 50 years. In addition, along with his wife and sons, he ran the popular Trovato’s Italiano Ristorante for 25 years. He was very active in Italian heritage organizations and was known for his delicious spaghetti Aglio e Olio at the annual Cara Amici picnic at Meadowlands Farm.

Mr. Trovato enjoyed cooking with his family, including his mother-in-law, making wine, curing olives, playing cards and gardening. He was an avid bowler.

Upon his death, his doctor and longtime friend, Robert Lesnock, said, “Canonsburg has lost one of her great sons, who gave generously to the community.” He leaves behind, in addition to numerous friends, his two faithful pets, Angel and Wrinkles.

On June 1, 1963, he married Anna Marie Bazan, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Joseph Trovato of McMurray and John (Melissa) Trovato of Canonsburg; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Mr. Trovato was the last of his immediate family. Deceased are three brothers, Nicolo, Antonio and Sebastian Trovato; and a sister, Vittoria Tilliegi.

Friends are welcome from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Friday, no visitation on Thanksgiving, in Salandra Funeral Service Inc., Joseph P. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Patrick Church, Canonsburg, followed by interment in St. Patrick Cemetery.
