Samuel Cole “Coley” Boone, 5, of Belmont, Ohio, died Sunday, November 18, 2012.

He was born April 17, 2007, in Pittsburgh, a son of Walter Logan IV and Ida Marie Robison Boone.

Coley was a third-year student at St. Clairsville (Ohio) Elementary Preschool and a Methodist.

He was a very loving child, always happy and had a smile for everyone. He loved riding his Bobcat, wearing his cowboy boots, camping and swimming.

Deceased is his maternal grandfather, James Russell Robison.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are sister Brittany Boone; brothers Ty Boone, Walter Logan Boone V and his twin, Bobby Boone; maternal grandmother Sara Lee Robison of Clarksville; paternal grandparents Walter Logan III and Margaret Ann Slie Boone of Bridgeport; godparents Mark and Sherry Stone of St. Clairsville, Carol Zemba of St. Clairsville and Charlene Hall of Moundsville, W.Va.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 7 p.m., the time of service, Wednesday, November 21, in Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, with Pastor Thomas N. Thomas officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the family, c/o Universal Supply, 41761 National Road, Belmont, OH 43718. These funds will be used for playground improvements at St. Clairsville Elementary School in memory of Coley.

Cindy Chase, 61, of Washington, died Sunday, November 18, 2012.

Hilda E. Barkand Crum, 95, of Upper St. Clair, died Sunday, November 18, 2012.

She was born September 12, 1917, in Federal, a daughter of the late Otto and Emma Kramer Barkand.

On April 18, 1942, she married the late John F. Crum.

Mrs. Crum was a retired employee of Upper St. Clair School District, where she worked for 27 years as a baker.

She loved the outdoors, tending to her garden, baking, crocheting and watching Steelers football games.

Surviving are four sons, Jerry (Kathy) Crum, Ron (Rose) Crum, Tony (Patty) Crum and Jeff (Debbie) Crum; two sisters, Mildred Barkand and Emily Stoltenberg; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are four brothers, Otto, Carl, William and Earl Barkand, and two sisters, Margaret Barkand and Emma Glynn.

Robert Morgan, 74, of McDonald, died Sunday, November 18, 2012, in Paulin’s Personal Care Home, McDonald.

He was born July 27, 1938, in Washington County, a son of the late George A. and Clara Morgan.

Mr. Morgan was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Priscilla J. Patton, 98, died Monday, November 19, 2012, in Sherwood Oaks, Cranberry Township, where she had lived for the past 30 years. She formerly lived in Washington.

She was born October 20, 1914, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Ralph G. and Adella Barnes Johnson.

Mrs. Patton was a very active member of Cranberry Community United Presbyterian Church.

She was a homemaker and an avid artist.

On July 18, 1936, she married Joseph Donald Patton, who died June 19, 1987.

Surviving are three sons, Joseph Donald Patton Jr. (Susan) of Hilton Head, S.C., James S. Patton of Baltimore, Md., and Michael (Judy) Patton of Olean, N.Y.; and four grandchildren, Jennifer Ann Megliore, Jonathan Patton, Whitney E. Bertram and Priscilla Jean Bennett.

Deceased are two brothers; a sister; and a grandson, Joseph Donald Patton III.

Dennis E. Phillips, 51, of New Freeport, died at 8:15 p.m. Sunday, November 18, 2012, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg, after being in failing health for the past several years.

He was born April 8, 1961, in Waynesburg, a son of Ethel Iona Morris Phillips of Holbrook and the late Frederick Earl Phillips.

Mr. Phillips formerly attended Valley Chapel United Methodist Church in Holbrook.

He had resided in the state of Virginia and Jackson Township for several years, prior to moving to Freeport Township in 2006.

Mr. Phillips was an employee of the former Golden Corral restaurant in Waynesburg and a construction worker in Virginia, prior to being employed by the former Nabisco plant in Washington.

He enjoyed hunting and was an avid automobile enthusiast.

On July 27, 2000, he married Jenny Lynn Barnhart, who survives.

Also surviving, in addition to his mother and his wife, are five daughters, Samantha, wife of Shane Morris of Fairport, Ohio, Misty, wife of Zachary Dane of Holbrook, Kelly, wife of Daniel Whitlatch of Sycamore, Diana Phillips of Richmond, Ind., and Amber, wife of Billy Whitlatch of Waynesburg (Eastview); a son, Dennis E. (DJ) Phillips Jr. at home; several grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Phillips of Waynesburg and Russell Phillips of Holbrook; four sisters, Debbie Phillips of Holbrook, Donna, wife of John Carter of Waynesburg, Bonnie Phillips of Brave and Michelle, wife of Jason Litton of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to his father, is a daughter, Yvonne Lynn Phillips, who died in infancy.

Betty Marie Stiles of Dry Tavern passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012, in her home, following a lengthy illness.

She was born January 10, 1932, in West Brownsville, a daughter of the late Harry and Mary Hvizda Yoders.

On November 16, 1948, she married Joseph W. Stiles Sr., who died October 11, 1994.

Mrs. Stiles lived most of her life in the Rices Landing area.

Before her health deteriorated, she was an active member of Rices Landing United Methodist Church.

She had worked at Greenway Shirt Factory.

Mrs. Stiles enjoyed baking, bowling, spending time outdoors, taking scenic drives, but most of all, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are children Mary (Ron) Baker, Joseph W. Stiles Jr., Harriet Kay (Bill) Donahou, Donna (Jeff) Lehman and Miki Jo (Tim Deal) Stiles; grandchildren Megan Baker, Matt (Becca) Baker, Kaylan Donahou and Skylar Lehman; brothers Joe Walter Yoders and Charles Yoders; and many extended family and friends.

Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are a son, Harry, and a grandson, David Lehman, who both died in infancy; sisters Geraldine McKeever and Naomi Burgett; and brothers Sam Yoders, George Yoders, Barry Yoders and Bob Yoders.

Samuel S. Stone Jr., 55, of Washington, died unexpectedly Sunday, November 18, 2012, in his home.

He was born July 10, 1957, in Washington, a son of Rosella Flo Nelson Stone of Washington and the late Samuel S. Stone Sr.

Mr. Stone was a graduate of Washington High School.

He worked as a brake press operator in a metal fabricating plant in Crafton.

Mr. Stone coached midget wrestling for several years and loved taking pictures of covered bridges.

On October 27, 1979, he married Charlene Clutter, who survives.

Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are two sons, Aaron Michael Stone and Christopher Nathan Stone, both of Washington, and two brothers, Gary L. (Tammy) Stone of Washington and Mark A. (Sherry) Stone of St. Clairsville, Ohio.

There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, November 23, in Claysville Christian Church, with the Rev. Meade Lacock and the Rev. Michael Singo officiating. Lois Jean Baumgartner Wiegman, 65, of McMurray, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012, in her home.

Deceased are her parents, Paul and Alice Baumgartner.

Surviving are her loving husband of 43 years, David W. Wiegman of McMurray; her children, David Wiegman and Danielle L. Wiegman, both of McMurray; a brother, Paul (Gay) Baumgartner of Pittsburgh; a sister, Donna (Mick) Grajcar of Carnegie; and three nieces and three nephews.
