Margaret M. Headley, 92, of Sandusky, Ohio, formerly of Fredericktown, Deemston Borough, and Newport Richey, Fla., died Saturday, November 17, 2012, in Sandusky.

She was born December 18, 1919, in Centerville, a daughter of the late Orman E. and Edith Griffith Moffitt.

Mrs. Headley was a graduate of Centerville High School and lifelong member of Centerville United Methodist Church.

A retired bank manager, Mrs. Headley began her banking career with First National Bank in Washington and retired from Gallatin Bank, Richeyville branch.

On November 26, 1942, she married Ernest M. Headley, who died June 22, 1992.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, is a brother, Richard Moffitt.

She was a true animal lover, always taking in stray dogs. She will always be remembered for her kind words and loving support of her family and friends as well as her strong faith in God.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 24, in Taylor United Methodist Church, Brownsville, with Pastor James Markley officiating. Interment will follow in Taylor Cemetery, Brownsville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Mrs. Headley’s memory be made to Centerville United Methodist Church, 600 Old National Pike, Brownsville, PA 15417. John B.
