Cora Vera Anderson Welshans
Cora Vera Anderson Welshans, 86, of Washington, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012, in her home.
She was born December 4, 1925, in Washington, a daughter of the late Cecil Clarence and Mary Jane Clutter Anderson.
Mrs. Welshans was a cook/server at Drover’s Inn and a member of Hooverson Heights Church of Christ.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Joseph W. Welshans, who passed away in 1994; a daughter, Linda Knight; a son-in-law, Ronald Pavlik, who passed away in 1995; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Pavlik.
Surviving are two daughters, Marlene Curtis and husband Russell of West Melbourne, Fla., and Marlene Pavlik of Pittsburgh; three sons, Vernon Welshans and wife Roxann of San Antonio, Texas, Ronald Emery and wife Joan of Follansbee, W.Va., and Lawrence Humphrey and wife Vicky of West Virginia; a brother, Cecil Anderson and wife Clara of Washington; 17 grandchildren and a granddaughter was expected anytime; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
