Mary Plesko Coneybeer
Mary Plesko Coneybeer, 93, of Jefferson, died Sunday, November 25, 2012, in Southwest Regional Medical Center, Waynesburg.
She was born September 3, 1919, in Rosco, a daughter of the late Charles and Reda Kandar Plesko.
On January 21, 1941, she married William E. Coneybeer, who died March 9, 1994.
Mrs. Coneybeer was a homemaker and had resided in Jefferson since 1948.
She was a member of Jefferson United Methodist Church, where she had been active in WSCS and Philathia Class. She also was a member of Jefferson Senior Citizens and American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are three sons, William E. Coneybeer Jr. of Jefferson, Robert T. Coneybeer of Butler and Ronald C. Coneybeer of Uniontown; five grandchildren, Nicole Coneybeer, Meagan Coneybeer Roberts, Lindsey Coneybeer, Zachary Coneybeer and Brandee Coneybeer; four great-grandchildren, Abbagail Phillips, Joseph Phillips, Kaleigh Coneybeer and Celia Roberts; and three sisters, Olive Ann Coneybeer of Belle Vernon, Jane Burkett of Columbus, Ohio, and Irene Leonard.
Deceased are six brothers, Charles, Steve, John, George, Michael and Edward Plesko; and two infant sisters, Helen and Elizabeth Plesko.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 28, with the Rev. Richard E. Bowser officiating. Entombment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Township.
