Thomas “Sonny” Adams, 84, of Cecil, died Sunday, November 25, 2012, in Washington County Health Center, Chartiers Township.
He was a son of the late Steve and Bertha Mouret Adams.
Mr. Adams was the beloved husband of the late Anna Broyles Adams, who died March 22, 2012.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Cecil.
Mr. Adams was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He enjoyed bowling and gardening.
Mr. Adams retired from W.T. Kratovil Inc. as a carpenter supervisor.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas M. (Deborah) Adam Sr. of Washington and Stephen (Jean) Adams of Bethel Park; five grandchildren, Thomas M. (Gail) Adams Jr. of Mt. Lebanon, Bethany Lynn (Justin) Adder of Washington and Patrick C. Adams, Brennen Adams and Blaine Adams, all of Bethel Park; four great-grandchildren, Caleb, Micah and Chloe Adams and Julianne Claire Adder; two sisters, Janet Slimick of Scott Township and Joyce Patnesky of Carnegie; and a brother, Ronald Adams of Canonsburg.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Coleman-Taylor Funeral Service, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA 15321. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, November 28, in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Cecil. Interment will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
