Thomas “Sonny” Adams, 84, of Cecil, died Sunday, November 25, 2012, in Washington County Health Center, Chartiers Township.
He was a son of the late Steve and Bertha Mouret Adams.
Mr. Adams was the beloved husband of the late Anna Broyles Adams, who died March 22, 2012.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Cecil.
Mr. Adams was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He enjoyed bowling and gardening.
Mr. Adams retired from W.T. Kratovil Inc. as a carpenter supervisor.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas M. (Deborah) Adams Sr. of Washington and Stephen (Jean) Adams of Bethel Park; five grandchildren, Thomas M. (Gail) Adams Jr. of Washington, Bethany Lynn (Justin) Adder of Mt. Lebanon, Patrick C. Adams of Washington and Brennen Adams and Blaine Adams, both of Bethel Park; four great-grandchildren, Caleb, Micah and Chloe Adams and Julianne Claire Adder; two sisters, Janet Slimick of Scott Township and Joyce Patnesky of Carnegie; and a brother, Ronald Adams of Canonsburg.
Deceased are two sisters and two brothers.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Coleman-Taylor Funeral Service, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA 15321. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, November 28, in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Cecil. Interment will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
