Elizabeth Totterdale, 90, of Houston, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012, in Townview Health & Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg.
She was born November 22, 1922, a daughter of the late William and Viola Modlinski Laskowski. She had lived in Houston for the past 48 years.
Mrs. Totterdale had been employed as welder, having been a “Rosie the Riveter” during World War II at the Norfolk, Va., shipyards. She had last been employed as a secretary at the former RCA plant in Canonsburg.
On March 26, 1949, she married Robert K. Totterdale, who died January 18, 2010.
She is survived by her daughter, Denise L. Totterdale, with whom she made her home; a sister, Katherine (Gordon) Pastovich of Canonsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her husband, are five sisters, Eleanor Totterdale, Dorothy and Florence Leskowski, Gertrude Rogers and Dolores Ciehnoski, and four brothers, Edward, Albert, Herman and Theodore Leskowski.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation or services. Private interment will be in Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg, Friday, November 30.
