June Enrichetta Rupani, 77, resident of Allegheny Valley School Pittsburgh Campus, formerly of Bulger, passed peacefully Tuesday, November 27, 2012, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born August 21, 1935, in Erie Mine, a daughter of the late Armando and Elma Jouret Rupani.
Ms. Rupani was a member of St. Ann Church in Bulger and the Ladies Guild.
She worked at Opportunities Center at The Arc in Washington.
Ms. Rupani enjoyed crocheting and recently won First Prize Blue Ribbon for her afghan at the Hookstown County Fair and competed in the Special Olympics.
She was a cherished sister, aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt.
Surviving are a brother, Charles B. (Irene) Rupani of Bulger; a twin sister, Jean Martin of Bulger; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 30, in Taucher Funeral Home, 23 Erie Mine Road, Burgettstown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 1, in St. Ann Church, Bulger, with the Rev. Bob Staszewski as celebrant. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Burgettstown. The family suggests memorial donations be made to Allegheny Valley School, Pittsburgh Campus, Building 5.
