Robert Windsheimer
Robert Wayne Windsheimer, 66, of Weirton, W.Va., formerly of Burgettstown, died unexpectedly Sunday, November 25, 2012, in Weirton.
He was born December 31, 1945, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Karl and Alma Slopek Windsheimer.
Mr. Windsheimer worked as a carpenter.
He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Slovan Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mr. Windsheimer enjoyed fishing, watching old movies and listening to country music.
Surviving are four children, Rebecca (Carl) Sutherland of Beallsville, Bobbi Jo (Fred) Six of Burton, W.Va., Robert (Laura) Windsheimer of Canonsburg and William (Tracy) Windsheimer of Westland; three brothers, Ken (Judy) Windsheimer of Pittsburgh, Ronald (Joann) Windsheimer of Bridgeville and Arthur (Darlene) Windsheimer of Oakdale; three sisters, Shirley (Joseph) Bender of Burgettstown, Jean Matesic of Washington and Iris (Pete) Mirich of Burgettstown; 12 grandchildren, Joshua and Caitlin Sutherland, Hunter and Tanner Six, Mitchell, Sebastian, Nathan, Liam, Brittany and Hannah Windsheimer and David and Anthony Higgins; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, Richard Windsheimer, and a brother-in-law, Sam Matesic.
