Robert T. Graham, 82, of Washington, died Thursday, November 29, 2012, in his home.

He was born January 29, 1930, in Lagonda, a son of John Scott Graham and Helen Holmes Graham.

On November 15, 1951, he entered the U.S. Marine Corps. For his service, he received the National Defense Service Medal and was honorably discharged November 6, 1953.

Mr. Graham was a machinist and retired from Frazier Simplex Inc.

He was a member of Avery United Methodist Church and the church’s dartball team, the senior golf group at Dogwood Hills, Washington County Seniors Bowling League, Nemacolin Bowling League and Edwin Scott Linton Post 175 of the American Legion.

On June 2, 1951, he married Mona Lea Andrew, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Beth (Michael) Shannon of Midland, Beaver County, and Pamela (Stanley) Varner of Washington; a brother, Charles Richard Graham; four grandchildren, Bryan (Rachel) Shannon of Beaver Falls, Christopher (Erin) Shannon of Ashburn, Va., and Kimberly Johnson and Ginger Strope, both of Washington; and five great-grandchildren, Carlee Shannon and Joseph, Sheridan, Savannah and Siearra Johnson.

A brother, John Raymond Graham, is deceased.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 1, in Avery United Methodist Church, Washington, with the Rev. Ruth Simmons officiating. Entombment will follow in Washington Cemetery Mausoleum. Military rites will be accorded by Edwin Scott Linton Post 175 of the American Legion.
