Sareta D. Garetson, 83, of Waynesburg, died Thursday, November 29, 2012, in Golden Living Center in Waynesburg.

She was born December 23, 1928, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Paul Campbell and Evelyn Eddy.

She was a graduate of Waynesburg High School.

She was a former resident of Traverse City, Mich. She lived for the past 28 years in Waynesburg, where she was a member of First Assembly of God.

Surviving are seven children, Rick Caperton of Anderson, S.C., Doug Caperton of Bonita Springs, Fla., Dirk Caperton of Idaho, Rich Garetson of Waynesburg, Tina Tuggle of Waynesburg, Marcia Weber of Ravenna, Ohio, and Chris Garetson of Waynesburg; 23 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Deceased are three sons, Christopher, Steve and Mark Caperton.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the time of services, Sunday, December 2, in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High Street, Waynesburg, with the Rev. Richard O. Ritenour officiating. Burial will follow in Oakmont Cemetery, Waynesburg. Condolences may be offered at www.behmfh.com.
