Owner of Maffei Associates Joseph P. Maffei, 82, of Peters Township, died Thursday, October 4, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Augusta Maffei; loving father of Mary Jo (Jeff Quackenbush) Maffei, Joe (Holly) Maffei, John (Shelly) Maffei and James (Kate) Maffei; and cherished grandfather of Paul and Lenna Quackenbush, Dario Maffei, Amy, Ryan and Kelly Maffei and Luca and Matteo Maffei. Mr. Maffei was proud of starting his own business, Maffei Associates. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, playing the accordion and flying his own airplane. Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828, Washington Road, McMurray, 724-941-3211. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, October 8, in St. Benedict the Abbot Church, McMurray. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township.
