Ann Matty Lane Pore
Devoted member of Christ Anglican Church Ann Matty Lane Pore, 86, a lifelong resident of Brownsville and a recent resident of Consulate Retirement Village, Canonsburg, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2012. She was a daughter of the late Michael and Anna Matty. Mrs. Pore was a devoted member of Christ Anglican Church in Brownsville. She was married to the late Kenneth Pore, who passed away September 15, 1987. Mrs. Pore had been a telephone operator and worked for years as a cashier in several area grocery stores, including Lablaws and Del Farms of Brownsville and Kroger of Uniontown. Surviving are a daughter, Dr. Janet E. Lane of Washington; a son, Jack David Lane of Gold River, Calif.; grandchildren Colleen Lane of Sacramento, Calif., and Bryan Lane of Tokyo, Japan; sisters Irene (Paul) Durda, Helen (Ken) Vickers and Betty (Ed) Labin; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a brother, Richard Matty. Friends will be received from 9 to 10 a.m., the time of service, Saturday, October 13, in Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, followed by a commendation service at 10:30 a.m. in Christ Anglican Church, Brownsville, with the Rev.
