Vaughn Albert Simonelli, 55, of Washington, died Thursday, October 18, 2012.

He was born December 23, 1956, a son of the late Victor Louis Simonelli Sr. and Betty Loar Simonelli.

Mr. Simonelli worked as a truck driver for Teamsters Construction Industry and formerly worked for Hulcher Services and R.J. Corman.

He was a member of the Arden Club and enjoyed spending time with his grandson as well as working on cars, camping and being outdoors.

Surviving are three sons, Vaughn Simonelli Jr., Josh Simonelli and James Simonelli, all of Washington; three daughters, April Beatty (Dan) of Canonsburg, Holly Anderson (Justin) of Washington and Emily Simmons of Wellsburg, W.Va.; four brothers, George Simonelli (Nancy) of Bradenton, Fla., William Jon Simonelli (Jannie) of Taylorstown, Dean H. Simonelli (Tammy) of Avella and Gino Simonelli (Janet) of Taylorstown; a sister, Diane Knox (Walter) of Houston; a grandson, Randall Beatty; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a brother, Victor Louis Simonelli.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:30 p.m., the time of service, Monday, October 22, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
