Anna J. Yurchick, 76, of Ellsworth, died Saturday, October 20, 2012, in Mentor Way Care Center, Mentor, Ohio.She was born September 21, 1936, in Daisytown, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Novak Lexie.Mrs. Yurchick was a graduate of California High School and worked as an office manager.On August 31, 1961, she married John “Gus” Yurchick, who died November 27, 2006. Surviving are five children, John B. Yurchick (Jill) of Mentor, Sandra Ann Messinger (Mark) of Columbus, Ohio, Patricia Yurchick-Baskowsky (Paul) of Philadelphia, Kimberly Sue Yurchick-Kolacinski (Rich) of South Euclid, Ohio, and Kelly Yurchick-Tenney (James) of Las Vegas, Nev.; six grandchildren, Adam and Robert Yurchick, Mikayla Messinger, Jake and John Baskowsky and Chance Kolacinski; a brother, Joseph Lexie; two sisters, Irene Sine and Marie Fargo; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 26, with the Rev. James Ragan officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Yurchick may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation at www.parkinson.org.
