Mildred “Millie” Buskirk, 70, of Carmichaels, died Wednesday, October 24, 2012, in her home. She was born October 30, 1941, a daughter of the late Milfred and Martha Rafferty Harvey. Mrs. Buskirk was a longtime teacher with the Head Start Program in Greene County. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Carmichaels and Head Start. On April 15, 1960, she married Charles “Bunny” Buskirk, who died August 28, 1998. Surviving are a daughter, Charlene Bird and husband Bryan of Carmichaels; a son, Eric Buskirk and wife Shayla of Carmichaels; a son-in-law, Matthew Duane Conard of Nemacolin; grandsons B.K. Bird and girlfriend Renee, Remington Buskirk and she was expecting a grandson in December, Ryder Michael Buskirk; four sisters, Rosetta Tanner of Richeyville, Dorothy Harvey of Little Mexico, Shirley Naylor (Bill) of Cleveland, Ohio, and Debbie Lohr (Bob) of Carmichaels; and a brother, John Harvey of Little Mexico. Deceased, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Martha Conard; three sisters, Nancy Boothe, Martha Rossell and Alberta Harvey; and two brothers, Skip Cybak and Milfred Harvey. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 27, with the Rev. Kenneth Summers officiating. Interment will follow in Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels. Clarence Cecchini, 92, of Burgettstown, formerly of Avella, died Wednesday, October 24, 2012, in Washington County Health Center, Chartiers Township. Arrangements are being handled by Jerome A. Stefkovich Funeral Home Inc., Avella. A complete obituary will be published in a later edition. Corrected information was received for the obituary of James Reed Chapman, published Wednesday. Surviving is a niece, Jean Shultz. Deceased is a sister, Elizabeth Longdon.

Kimberly Ann Copechal, 44, of Washington, died Tuesday, October 23, 2012, in UPMC-Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born September 9, 1968, in Washington, a daughter of Robert L. Copechal Sr. and the late Linda M. Clark Copechal-Matthews. Ms. Copechal was a graduate of Washington High School and Penn Commercial. She worked in medical billing and coding at Washington Hospital. Ms. Copechal was Catholic and attended Living Waters Church of God. A devoted mother, she enjoyed decorating her home and spending time with her children. She was known as an independent spirit. Surviving, in addition to her father, are her life partner, Randolph T. Lewis Jr. of Washington; two daughters, Breeze Marie Lewis and Harmony Reign Lewis, both at home; a brother, Robert (Sherry) Copechal Jr. of Washington; a stepbrother, Larry Campbell of Bentleyville; a sister, Michelle Cohen of Washington; two stepsisters, Tina (William) Puchi of Washington and Kara Adkins of Allison Park; several nieces and nephews, including Brittany Copechal, Jonathan, Lashelle Jonelle and Calin Cohen and Robert and Summer Ballentyne; her stepfather, Ernest Matthews of Canonsburg; and her stepmother, Terry Copechal of Eighty Four. She also leaves behind Wendy Ballentyne, who was like a sister to her. Deceased is her mother, Linda M. Clark Copechal-Matthews. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in William G. Robert W. Grassi, 72, of Washington, died peacefully Sunday, October 14, 2012, in his home, following a seven-month illness. He was born June 28, 1940, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Ruth O’Bryon Grassi Susko and Chester Grassi. He was the nephew of the late Virginia “Aunt Gin” O’Bryon. Mr. Grassi was a 1958 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School. In addition to excelling in high school basketball, he played on the Washington Minors minor league football team. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard. Mr. Grassi was employed as a stockbroker representative and worked in the health club field in Pennsylvania and New York, eventually owning two clubs of his own in Ohio and West Virginia. He owned and managed sales offices for Invention Submission Corp., also known as Invent Help, in Pittsburgh, receiving numerous awards for excellence prior to retiring. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, sharing many wonderful experiences with his brothers and friends, and became very active in raising and training English setters. He earned numerous national and state awards for outstanding performance in competitive field trials with his dogs. At the time of his death, he was the reigning National Grouse Championship trophy holder. Surviving are his loving partner of 32 years, Roberta Aul; beloved daughter Roberta J. (Chris) Weiss and adored granddaughters Emily A. and Augusta S. (Gussie) Weiss, all of Pittsburgh; devoted brothers Michael H. (Joan) Susko of Houston and David H. (Mattie) Susko of Washington; sister Geraldine (Jim) Converse of South Park; nephew Michael W. (Renee) Susko and children Kaleb and Madison, all of Houston; nieces Rachel J. Susko of Washington and Tracy (John) Major and children Ana and Ava, all of Tennessee; and uncle Ercole and aunt Ann Grassi, both of Houston. His life was greatly enriched by his family and friends. He always felt he was a lucky man. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 27, in Fairhill Manor Christian Church, 351 Montgomery Avenue, Washington. Ruth Helen Razzano, 84, of McMurray, formerly of Monongahela, died Wednesday, October 17, 2012, in Paramount Senior Living, McMurray. She was born December 6, 1927, in Finleyville, a daughter of Charles Francis and Helen Angameer Downer. Mrs. Razzano was a 1945 graduate of Monongahela High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Monongahela. Mrs. Razzano was a homemaker and had many hobbies including crafts, sewing, crocheting, embroidery, ceramics and quilting. She also enjoyed playing bingo and bowling. Surviving are her husband, Frank Razzano, with whom she celebrated 65 years of marriage July 1, 2012; a son, David Razzano and wife Kathy of Felton, Del.; a daughter, Karen Kohler and husband Randall of Washington; three grandsons, David “Paul” Razzano and wife Necia, Mark Daniel Razzano and wife Erin and Jared Randall Kohler and wife Brittany; a granddaughter, Rayna Lynn Ankrom and husband Jared; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Grace Thurston of Allegheny, N.Y. Deceased, in addition to her parents, are two brothers, Raymond and Eugene Downer. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of service, Saturday, October 27, in Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, with the Rev. Mark Schollaert officiating. Rosemary Typovsky, 70, of Daisytown, passed away peacefully Monday, October 22, 2012, in Washington Hospital, surrounded by the hearts that she deeply cared for and loved endlessly. She will be forever remembered as a wife, a mother, a grandmother (even if for a short time) and a shoulder, a voice and an ear. She always put others before herself, but it is assured God saved her a special spot in heaven. She worked at Brownsville General Hospital, Center in the Woods and Columbia Gas. Deceased are her parents, Sara and Edward Childs, formerly of Brownsville. Surviving are her husband of 44 years, James Joseph Typovsky of Daisytown; her twin brother, Edward Childs of East Millsboro; daughters Kelly Jo Typovsky of Daisytown, Jamie Elizabeth Typovsky of Lovettsville, Va., and Bridget Michelle Typovsky of Gahanna, Ohio; son James Michael Typovsky II and wife Rhonda Jo Typovsky of Brownsville; and her granddaughters, “Grammy’s Angels” and the lights of her life, Akaylia Rose Typovsky and Taryn Jo Typovsky. She also leaves behind her “grand-pups,” Heinz, Hayden, Hannah and Hasbro. Her family is honoring her wishes to forego a viewing and a church service. Instead, her body is being donated to West Virginia University, her daughter Bridget’s alma mater, where the university can study and hopefully find a cure and better treatments for cancer, diabetes and heart disease, conditions she suffered from. In lieu of flowers, family and friends are asked to make a donation to American Heart Association (donate.americanheart.org), in memory of a woman who gave so much to so many, for as long as her heart would let her. Elizabeth G. “Beth” Williams, 51, of Bethel, Conn., and Claysville, died Monday, October 22, 2012, in her home. She was the wife of David L. Williams Jr. Mrs. Williams was born January 13, 1961, in Burlington, Vt., a daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth Musante Griffin. She had been a resident of Bethel for 25 years. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Williams worked as a pipeliner for several years and was a member of Pipeliner Union Local 798. She also worked as a bartender at the Ground Round, Chili’s and American Legion. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are sister Jean Walter; brothers Thomas, Robert and David Griffin; children Nichole Primavera, Breanne (Jay) Knightly, Christopher Allen and Davey (Michaela) Williams; “grandbabies” Kristina, Kylie, Alasandra, Gavin, Madalyn, Samantha, Zack and Michael; and parents-in-law Dave and Jane Williams. Deceased is a son, Shawn Williams, who passed away earlier this year. The family will receive friends and family from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday in Hull Funeral Home, 60 Division Street, Danbury, Conn.
