Rosemary Typovsky, 70, of Daisytown, passed away peacefully Monday, October 22, 2012, in Washington Hospital, surrounded by the hearts that she deeply cared for and loved endlessly. She will be forever remembered as a wife, a mother, a grandmother (even if for a short time) and a shoulder, a voice and an ear. She always put others before herself, but it is assured God saved her a special spot in heaven. She worked at Brownsville General Hospital, Center in the Woods and Columbia Gas. Deceased are her parents, Sara and Edward Childs, formerly of Brownsville. Surviving are her husband of 44 years, James Joseph Typovsky of Daisytown; her twin brother, Edward Childs of East Millsboro; daughters Kelly Jo Typovsky of Daisytown, Jamie Elizabeth Typovsky of Lovettsville, Va., and Bridget Michelle Typovsky of Gahanna, Ohio; son James Michael Typovsky II and wife Rhonda Jo Typovsky of Brownsville; and her granddaughters, “Grammy’s Angels” and the lights of her life, Akaylia Rose Typovsky and Taryn Jo Typovsky. She also leaves behind her “grand-pups,” Heinz, Hayden, Hannah and Hasbro. Her family is honoring her wishes to forego a viewing and a church service. Instead, her body is being donated to West Virginia University, her daughter Bridget’s alma mater, where the university can study and hopefully find a cure and better treatments for cancer, diabetes and heart disease, conditions she suffered from. In lieu of flowers, family and friends are asked to make a donation to American Heart Association (donate.americanheart.org), in memory of a woman who gave so much to so many, for as long as her heart would let her.
