Ruth Helen Razzano, 84, of McMurray, formerly of Monongahela, died Wednesday, October 17, 2012, in Paramount Senior Living, McMurray. She was born December 6, 1927, in Finleyville, a daughter of Charles Francis and Helen Angameer Downer. Mrs. Razzano was a 1945 graduate of Monongahela High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Monongahela. Mrs. Razzano was a homemaker and had many hobbies including crafts, sewing, crocheting, embroidery, ceramics and quilting. She also enjoyed playing bingo and bowling. Surviving are her husband, Frank Razzano, with whom she celebrated 65 years of marriage July 1, 2012; a son, David Razzano and wife Kathy of Felton, Del.; a daughter, Karen Kohler and husband Randall of Washington; three grandsons, David “Paul” Razzano and wife Necia, Mark Daniel Razzano and wife Erin and Jared Randall Kohler and wife Brittany; a granddaughter, Rayna Lynn Ankrom and husband Jared; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Grace Thurston of Allegheny, N.Y. Deceased, in addition to her parents, are two brothers, Raymond and Eugene Downer. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of service, Saturday, October 27, in Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, with the Rev. Mark Schollaert officiating.
