Alleen M. Stewart, 84, of Washington, died Saturday, October 27, 2012, in Donnell House, Washington. She was born March 15, 1928, in Washington, a daughter of John Allen and Jessie McCollum Martin. Before entering nursing school, Mrs. Stewart drove a milk truck for Gather’s Retail Milk business. She graduated from Washington Hospital School of Nursing and followed this at Mercy Hospital School of Anesthesia. On September 17, 1960, she married Wayne Stewart, who died on January 23, 2008. Mrs. Stewart was the last of her immediate family. She loved her dog, Rusty, flowers, polkas and game shows. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hummell & Jones Funeral Home, Thomas W.
