Beulah N. Detwiler, 83, of Forward Township, died Monday, October 29, 2012, in Mt. Vernon of Elizabeth in Elizabeth Township. She was born June 13, 1929, in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Benjamin F. Boyd and Bertha Smith Boyd. Mrs. Detwiler was married to Howard J. Detwiler, who is deceased. She was a member of Ella Hollow Bible Church in Forward Township. Mrs. Detwiler loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with friends. Surviving are a son, Timothy J. (Chris) Detwiler of Forward Township; a granddaughter, Megan R. Detwiler of Forward Township; and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon, the time of service, Wednesday, October 31, in Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth, with the Rev. John Pipp officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 1100 Liberty Avenue, Suite E-201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222-4256.
