Michael Anthony Fanase, 49, of Burgettstown, died unexpectedly Tuesday, October 23, 2012, in Weirton (W.Va.) Medical Center.He was born October 11, 1963, in Washington, son of Laura T. Boccabella Fanase of Burgettstown and the late Anthony Fanase Jr.A 1981 graduate of Burgettstown High School, he served in the U.S. Air Force at Fort Shaw, S.C., for four years.Mr. Fanase enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an avid reader.Surviving, in addition to his mother, are two aunts, Clara Sarish of Burgettstown and Barbara Wales of Wellsburg, W.Va.; godmother Gloria Holladay of South Carolina; and several cousins.To honor Mr. Fanase’s wishes, there will be no public visitation and inurnment will be held privately.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lee & Martin Funeral Home, Burgettstown.
