Amelia “Dolores” Bioni Aiello, 85, of Bridgeville, died Saturday, October 27, 2012.She was born March 23, 1927, in Peters Township, a daughter of Dominick and Martha Pape Bioni.On February 9, 1950, she married Michael Aiello, who died January 31, 2010.Mrs. Aiello was a member of South Fayette Senior Citizens.She enjoyed traveling and reading.Surviving are three daughters, Karen Aiello, Cheryl (David) Burch and Amy Aiello, and many nieces and nephews.Deceased are five brothers, Walton, Theodore, Angelo, Henry and Howard Bioni; and a sister, Theresa DeFillippo.Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, 412-221-3333. Pauline M. Dzubay, formerly of Elrama, died Monday, October 29, 2012, in Residence at Hilltop Assisted Living Center, Carroll Township.She was born June 7, 1922, in Courtney, daughter of Faustin and Minnie Dominick O’Dell.Mrs. Dzubay was retired as cafeteria manager at the former Elrama Elementary School in Ringgold School District.She was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church in West Elizabeth.Surviving are son John Dzubay and wife Elaine of Greensburg; two daughters, Paulette Caldwell and husband Robert of Eighty Four and Kathleen Friedrich and husband Kurt of Redmond, Wash.; daughter-in-law Annette Dzubay of Grayland, Wash.; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.Deceased are her husband, Stephen Dzubay, who died in 2002; son Stephen F. Dzubay; two brothers, Earl and Faustin O’Dell; two sisters, Kay Pelligrino and Evelyn Sleith; and two grandsons, Michael Caldwell and James Dzubay.Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Kegel Funeral Home Inc., Tim P. Virginia L. Grimm, 94, of Washington, passed into the presence of her Lord and savior Tuesday, October 30, 2012.She was born April 19, 1918, in Amity, daughter of James and Annie Johnston McDonald.Mrs. Grimm was a member of Washington Alliance Church, where she sang in the choir for many years. She also was a deaconess, Sunday school teacher, Bible school leader and was a member of the Women’s Missionary Prayer Fellowship.She was a homemaker and loved her family, sewing and singing.On April 23, 1939, in Uniontown, she married Theodore Grimm. Mr. Grimm died January 24, 1981.Surviving are two sons, Gordon W. (Mary Grace) Grimm of Avella and R. Halden (Carolyn Jean) Grimm of Gibsonia; grandson Theodore D. (Robin) Grimm of Washington; two great-grandchildren, Shawn and Tyler Grimm; and several nephews.Deceased are brother William C. McDonald and three sisters, Opal Kerr, Mildred Burrier and Geneva Smith.Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m., the time of service, Friday, November 2, in Piatt & Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Ave. Washington. Anthony Manko, 92, of Pittsburgh, died Monday, October 29, 2012, in UPMC-Mercy hospital, Pittsburgh.He was born November 26, 1919, in Pittsburgh, son of John and Mary Sompel Manko.Mr. Manko was retired as a driver for Airport Transportation Co. in Pittsburgh. He also had been employed by P&LE Railroad and Yellow Cab Co.He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater aboard the USS St. Louis.Mr. Manko enjoyed fishing and bowling with his buddies in a league up to two weeks ago.Surviving are two sons, Truman A. Manko of Wareham, Mass., and Lewis R. Manko of Finleyville; two daughters, Carol A. Leasure of Weirton, W.Va., and Mina “Dee” Englert and husband Ed of Finleyville; three grandchildren, Robert C. and Daniel A. Englert and Heather Lysaght; two great-grandsons, Robert E. Englert and Xavier Lysaght; and several nieces and nephews.A son, Michael John Manko, is deceased.At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. Else Marie “Schultz” Metcalfe passed quietly in the evening of October 18, 2012. She was born December 31, 1934, in Charleroi, the only daughter of Robert and Estelle Brosen. Mrs. Metcalfe retired from J.C. Penney.Her passion was quilting, and she shared that passion with her family and friends. John D. “Buck” O’Connor of Upper St. Clair died Saturday, October 27, 2012.He was the beloved husband of 53 years to Sally Fellows O’Connor; loving father to John (Amy) O’Connor, Joni (Mike) Namuth, Janie (Glenn) Davis, Jim (Sue) O’Connor, Julie (Greg) Horan and Jeff (Melissa) O’Connor; devoted grandfather to Kayla and John O’Connor, Lindsay and Connor Namuth, Lauren and Jeffrey Davis, Justin, Ryan and Josh O’Connor, Christopher and Jill Horan and Caroline, Catherine and Matthew O’Connor; and loving brother to Jean Beatty and the late Frank O’Connor, Bill O’Connor, Jim O’Connor, Thomas O’Connor, Rose Mary Mahoney, Rita Fallon and Florence Hall.Mr. O’Connor also leaves behind a countless number of nieces, nephews and friends.He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Lloyd E. Swiger, 82, of Washington, died Tuesday, October 30, 2012, in Washington County Health Center, Chartiers Township. He was born October 26, 1930, in Washington, son of Perlie and Lillian Swiger. Mr. Swiger graduated from Claysville High School in 1949 and worked for Bell of Pennsylvania for 32 years. He was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church. On November 17, 1990, he married Dolores Sasek, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Michael (Sandy) Swiger and Steven (Linda) Swiger, both of Winchester, Va.; two stepsons, David (Carol) Mogentale of New York, N.Y., and Eric (Cindy) Mogentale of Chicago, Ill.; stepdaughter Lettiann Mogentale-Betts of Kansas City, Mo.; five grandchildren, Sara Wright, Becky Rothrock, Daniel Swiger, Adam Swiger and Emily Gerenski, all of Winchester; four stepgrandchildren, Katie, Natalie and Michael Mogentale and Nicholas Betts; and 10 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, John and Lowell Swiger, both of Greenville, S.C., and sister Joan Stevey of Dayton, Ohio. A sister, Nadine, is deceased.
