Roberta M. Weiss Devoted wife and mother with a passion for the Lord
Roberta M. Weiss of Taylorstown passed away peacefully Sunday, September 23, 2012, surrounded by her family, at the age of 78.
Surviving are her loving husband, Warren Weiss; children Don (Wendy) Brown, Dan (Kathy) Weiss, Eric (Amy) Weiss, Patti (Tony) Chioda, Kevin Weiss and Marlene (Dave) Peck; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Wayne Brown.
Mrs. Weiss was a devoted wife and mother with a passion for the Lord and a member of Grace Baptist Chapel.
She enjoyed gardening, reading, writing and singing, but her main enjoyment was her family.
There will be no public viewing. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 7, in Central Assembly of God in Houston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Central Christian Academy, 145 McGovern Road, Houston, PA 15342, where she was a longtime teacher. Arrangements are by Thomas M. Smith Funeral Home & Crematory Ltd., Blawnox.
