Bertha E. Thompson Korba Former Frosty Kiss cook

Bertha E. Thompson Korba, 85, of Eighty Four, Somerset Township, formerly of Cokeburg, died Tuesday morning, September 25, 2012, in her home.

She was born June 27, 1927, in Washington, a daughter of Walter and Leticia Thompson.

Mrs. Korba had worked at the Carlton Motel and as a cook at the Frosty Kiss.

She was a member of Ave Maria Parish.

Her husband, Andrew Charles Korba, died May 20, 1974.

Surviving are a son, Randy C. Korba (Rose Ann) of Eighty Four; granddaughters Deanna Cheberenchick (David), Christa Brooks and Kayla Brooks; great-grandchildren Amy and Bella Cheberenchick and Brooklyn Black; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are brothers Walter and Harry and a sister, Ella.

Friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, September 29, followed at 10 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial in Ave Maria Parish, Bentleyville, with the Rev.
