Robert Jack ?McCullough Avid bowler ?served in U.S. ArmyRobert Jack “Mac” McCullough, 83, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2012.He was born June 29, 1929, in Washington, a son of the late Orville and Alta Tobin McCullough.Mr. McCullough was a 1947 graduate of Washington High School and met the love of his life, Marjorie Hunt, in 1948. They married December 25, 1950, before he left to serve his country in the U.S. Army as “Radio Man,” running wires on the front lines in Korea from 1951 to 1952. In 1953, they moved to Akron, Ohio, where he worked for Akron Coffee and Grocery. He retired from Betsy Ross Foods as a mechanic with more than 20 years service.He was a member of Teamsters Local 348 and was an avid bowler and golfer. Deceased, in addition to his parents, are a son, Wayne Robert “Butch,” and a brother, David.Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Marjorie; children Rick (Diane) and Sharon Buckus; grandchildren Mary McCullough, Stephen Robert and Amy Darkow Buckus and Bryan Todd Buckus; and “sister” Juanita Anderson Moore. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and noon to 1 p.m., the time of service, Saturday, September 29, in Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 East Market Street, Akron, with the Rev.
