Mary E. Semenoff Enjoyed traveling ?and puzzles

Mary E. Semenoff, 88, of Marianna, died Thursday, September 27, 2012, in her home.

She was born January 15, 1924, in Nemacolin, daughter of the late Matthew Jacob and Victoria Makowiec Plock.

Mrs. Semenoff was a 1942 graduate of Jefferson High School.

She was married for 54 years to Nick Semenoff, who died September 19, 2004.

Mrs. Semenoff was a member of Sts. Mary and Ann Roman Catholic Church, Marianna, and its choir for several years.

She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and visited most of the national parks and points of interest with her husband and nieces. She also liked word puzzles and games and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are sister Victoria DeBolt of Mather and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are four brothers, Stanley, Walter, Michael Plock and Peter, who died in infancy; and sister Jean Nichols.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Behm Funeral Home Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where a blessing service will be held at 10:15 a.m. Monday, October 1, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Sts. Mary and Ann Roman Catholic Church, Marianna, with the Rev. Paul R. Grunebach as celebrant. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery, Marianna.
