Eugene C. Krysmalski U.S. Army veteran

Eugene C. Krysmalski, 77, of Eighty Four, died Sunday, September 30, 2012, in Havencrest Nursing Center, Carroll Township.

He was born Tuesday, September 3, 1935, in Donora, a son of the late Fred and Thelma Kendrina Krysmalski.

Mr. Krysmalski was a veteran of the Korean conflict, serving as a specialist third class in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1957.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Shirley Miller Krysmalski, and a brother, Freddie Krysmalski.

Surviving are two daughters, Gloria (William) Abercrombie of Waynesburg and Diane (Brian) Essary of Eighty Four; two sons, Michael (Robin) Johnson of New Kensington and David (Tabitha) Krysmalski of Fairmont, W.Va.; nine grandchildren, Apryl, Jessica, Gabrielle, Jacob, Camdynn, Erin, Christian, Paige and Parker; two sisters, Jeanine Rouse of Monongahela and Bernadette (Ron) Bausch of North Carolina; a brother, Charlie (Mary) Krysmalski of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the time of service, Tuesday, October 2, in Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033, 724-379-6900, with the Rev. Pierre Falkenhan of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Donora, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Donora.
