Carl Krenzelak (Koruyielak), 88, of Washington, died Sunday, March 31, 2013, in Consulate Care of McMurray.
He was born December 28, 1924, in Washington, a son of the late Joseph and Frances Nieduszewski Krenzelak.
Mr. Krenzelak was a bottle blower for the various glass producers in the Washington area.
He was a member of the U.S. Army and served in World War II in the European Theater. He was present at the Battle of the Bulge and received the Purple Heart after being wounded in Germany.
Surviving are a son, Carlo (Kathleen) Krenzelak Sr. of Prosperity; a brother, John Krenzelak of Washington; a sister, Judy Norkus of Ohio; a grandson, Carlo Krenzelak Jr. of Wheeling, W.Va.; and two great-grandsons, Trevor and Justin Krenzelak.
Deceased are a son, David Krenzelak; a daughter, Brenda Ann Krenzelak; a granddaughter, Jamie Beth Krenzelak; five brothers, Stephen, Walter, Joe, Chester and William Krenzelak; and two sisters, Helen Stanton and Violet Krenzelak.
All services were private. Inurnment took place in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township, at the convenience of the family.
