Margaret Temar, 88, of Daisytown, died peacefully Thursday, April 18, 2013, with her family by her side.
She was born Saturday, July 26, 1924, in Daisytown, a daughter of the late John and Suzanna Durica Duritza.
Mrs. Temar was a member of Rosary Society of Daisytown Assumption Church and a founding member of West Pike Run Women’s Club.
Her loved ones considered her to be the ultimate homemaker, baker and mother.
In addition to her parents, deceased are her husband, Alex Temar (1998) and her sister, Helen Dancheck (2005).
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters and sons-in-law, Alexis and Bill Fusselman of Southington, Ohio, Debbie and Ronnie Fear of Silsbee, Texas, and Bobbi and Dave Hixon of California; five grandsons, Eddie and Bobby Henley, David and Paul Fusselman and Luke Hixon; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Mariscotti Funeral Home Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California. Divine Liturgy will be held at a time to be announced Monday, April 22, in St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Brownsville, with the Rev. Jerome Botsko officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, California.
