John J. Curran, 84, of Carnegie, died Thursday, April 18, 2013.
He was the beloved husband of 39 years to Hannah; loving father of M. Scot (Ellen), John (Mary Kay), Susan (Lori) Curran, Amy (Winfried) Paul, Arlene (Charlie) Fernandez, LuAnn (Fred) Lozano, Carol Carney, Cyndi (Terry) Divelbliss and the late Kevin; grandfather of Allison and Scot Curran, Kevin Curran, Jason and Joseph Vernon and Jaime (Tim) College, Julian and Zoe Paul, David and Steven Klippelm, Hannah Kuga, Rick DiTommaso and Kimberly Lozano; and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Curran was a lifelong avid sports fan and played semi-pro football. He golfed regularly until recent years and enjoyed dining out and attending family events.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the time of memorial service, Thursday, April 25, in Beinhauers, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, 724-941-3211. Inurnment in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association at www.Alz.org.
