Brian J. Gilpin

Brian J. “Gilp” Gilpin, 28, of Rices Landing, died Thursday, April 25, 2013, in Monongahela Valley Hospital emergency room.

He was born January 22, 1985, in Washington, a son of Phillip Gilpin of Canonsburg and Darlene Yuhas Weishner of Fredericktown.

Mr. Gilpin worked at Cove Pizza Shop.

He was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan and was a member of Crucible Slovak Club.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are five siblings, Mark Weishner of Houston, Amanda Weishner of Lippincott, Courtney Szabo of Fredericktown, Sara Gilpin of Canonsburg and Aaron Gilpin of Canonsburg; a niece, Casey Herrod; maternal grandmother Joann Daley Yuhas of Washington; and paternal grandparents Phillip and Irene Gilpin of Washington.

Deceased is his maternal grandfather, Frank Yuhas.

Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of funeral services, Tuesday, April 30, in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor. Interment will follow in Jefferson Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.behm-funeralhomes.com.
